Mission
The NZVCA's mission is to develop a world-best venture capital (“VC”) and private equity (“PE”) environment for the benefit of investors and entrepreneurs in New Zealand.
Objectives
Public Policy
Work with Government to develop a world-best regulatory and tax framework for the venture capital and private equity industry.
VC and PE as an Asset Class
Promote the investment case of the asset class to local and offshore institutions and encourage an increase in their portfolio allocations to New Zealand VC and PE.
Industry Statistics
Collect, analyse and publish industry information to help demonstrate the economic impact and benefits of VC and PE.
VC and PE Education
Increase the awareness and understanding of VC/PE within government and the business community.
