The New Zealand Private Equity and Venture Capital Association 2008 Annual General Meeting will be held in Auckland from 5.30pm on Thursday 31 July 2008 at the offices of Simpson Grierson. Further details are set out below. Please register through the NZVCA website as soon as possible if you would like to attend the AGM and/or the Networking evening afterwards. The Networking evening is open to NZVCA members and non-members.

At 6.00pm the Networking evening will preview of a New Zealand Private Equity and Venture Capital Association publication “Fuel for Your Business,” a guide to New Zealand angel and venture capital.

Fuel for your Business provides a focus on the “fuel for business growth” - angel and venture “equity” capital. This Guide is for ambitious entrepreneurs starting (or already running) businesses which have high growth potential.

The NZVCA's 2008 AGM will be held from 5.30pm - 6.00pm on Thursday 31 July 2008 at Simpson Grierson’s offices in Auckland (Lumley Centre, 88 Shortland Street). The AGM will be followed by an NZVCA/Simpson Grierson Auckland Networking evening which will run from 5.30pm - 7.30pm.

A formal notice of the NZVCA's 2008 Annual General Meeting at which two special resolutions to change the NZVCA's Constitution and Rules will be proposed is attached.

Please register through the events section of the NZVCA website (see the link below) if you wish to attend the AGM and/or the Networking evening following the AGM.
